2023

Posts this year include an early year trip to Cumberland Island and Fernandina, nine weeks in the Bahamas, a fall trip to Cumberland Island, and a short report on the Queens Harbour Lighted Boat Parade.

2022

Posts this year include preparing for our annual Bahamas trip, stopping by TrawlerFest on our way south, getting stuck in West Palm due to weather, getting stuck in Lucaya due to weather, and finally getting to the Exumas. Then a detailed description of Sian’s horrific accident and getting her Medivaced to Miami via Nassau.

2021

Posts this year include multiple trips to Cumberland island and a six week cruise through the Keys to the Marquesas and Dry Tortugas, a trip to Daytona, and a four week cruise to The Low Country and North Carolina.

2020

Posts this year include a fall cruise on Sonas to the Florida South West via Lake Okeechobee. Plus trips on Sonas to Hilton Head, Palm Coast and multiple trips to Cumberland Island, Fernandina and St. Augustine. A picnic trip on the big RIB to Fort George River, and a post from Sian on boat “McGuvering”. Also and off-Sonas one month trip to South America – Rio, The Amazon, Machu Picchu and The Sacred Valley, Ecuador and The Galapagos.

2019

Winter projects including a new water maker and redoing the wood in the pilot house. A spring cruise to St Augustine. Three months in the Bahamas, a month in the Middle East – Jordan, Israel and Egypt, and a trip back to St Augustine for the Nights of Lights.

2018

2018 includes posts on our winter projects, getting documentation ready for the Bahamas, three months in the Abacos, followed by two months in the Chesapeake. Also a photo blog of our month on Safari in Kenya, Tanzania, and on a gorilla trek in Uganda!

2017

Preparing for our first trip to the Exumas, and three months there. Also what we learned on that trip. A trip to Palm Coast for July 4th and preparing for Hurricane Irma. The Jacksonville Air Show, St Augustine Nights of Lights and the Queens Harbour Lighted Boat Parade.

2016

We purchased Sonas in March of 2016 and brought her back to Jacksonville. Posts this year are on the immediate yard work that we completed, a trip to the Shrimp Festival in Fernandina, some local cruises including Cumberland Island. Also a trip to Hilton head, and a St Augustine trip. We also had Hurricanes Hermine and Matthew pass close by. In October we joined a group from our yacht club on a trip to the 1000 Islands in up-state New York. At the end of the year we had the Lighted Boat Parade, with bow thruster and Glendinning control issues!
